SMS Pro tracks genetic information for pricing and GPOS reporting.

Each product in SMS Pro can have a different price for each zone for a tech provider.  The zones will be available on the pricing tab of the product.

The traits are created for the items that need to be summarized on the GPOS report.  A product can be assigned one or more traits.  If you are not required to generate GPOS reports, this information does not need to be setup.

The genetic information is maintained similar to customers, dealers and product information.  Each item on the Genetic tree has properties associated with it.  If the item is a folder, additional items can be added by right clicking on the name and selecting the Add New menu option.
