Line Item Splits

Line item splits are necessary for partial deliveries or if multiple lot numbers are necessary to complete an order.  To split a line item, simply locate the product in the product hierarchy and add it again to the order.  After the item has been added, simply adjust the quantities as necessary.

In the following example, there are not enough of  a single lot number, this line item needs to be split to two line items with the combination totaling 50 units.

After selecting a lot number, the units remaining(shown in parenthesis) is a negative quantity.

Now the line item has been correctly split between the two lot numbers.
