Discounts

Dealers can create and edit incentive discounts.  Discounts can also be used to implement sales programs.

The discounts entered on the Dealer Discounts form will be available in the drop-down menus when entering orders.  Discounts may be defined as dollars-per-unit ($) or percentage (%) and may be limited to a specific product category.  

• Dollar discounts:  Discount amount is calculated on a "per unit" basis.  
• Percentage discounts: Discount amount is calculated on the order's gross-total -or- the seed-type gross-amount, depending on the choice made in the “Apply To” list.

To create a discount, select the type of discount , enter a description and the discount amount then click the Save button.

IMPORTANT NOTE: After a discount has been created, the discount type cannot be changed.  However the name and discount can be changed.
